About Puja
Swāti Nakṣatra, ruled by Vāyu and associated with movement, purification, and decisive transformation, is considered highly auspicious for invoking powerful protective energies. When this sacred nakṣatra coincides with worship at Ahobilam, the eternal abode of Lord Nṛsiṁha, the spiritual potency of the observance is greatly magnified.
On 7th February 2026, Nava Nṛsiṁha Homam is performed at Ahobilam, invoking the nine divine manifestations of Lord Nṛsiṁha, each representing a unique aspect of protection, courage, dharma-rakṣaṇa, and annihilation of adharma. Worship of the Nava Nṛsiṁhas is traditionally associated with removal of fear, victory over inner and outer enemies, relief from severe afflictions, and restoration of balance in life.
The puja begins with proper saṅkalpa, followed by the invocation of the Nava Nṛsiṁha Devatās as prescribed in śāstric tradition. Sacred mantras dedicated to Lord Nṛsiṁha are then offered into the consecrated fire through Nṛsiṁha Homam, where Agni serves as the divine carrier of mantra-śakti and the devotee’s prayers.
Each oblation strengthens the protective shield around the devotee, invoking the Lord’s ugra yet benevolent form to destroy fear, negativity, and obstacles rooted in past karma. The homam concludes with śānti mantras, sealing the saṅkalpa and ensuring spiritual completeness.
The scriptures glorify surrender to Lord Nṛsiṁha, declaring:
“नृसिंहः परतो देवो लोकानां हितकारकः”—
“Lord Nṛsiṁha is the supreme protector, ever working for the welfare of all beings.”
Our learned team of Pandits at VedaVidhi will perform this sacred Nava Nṛsiṁha Sādhanā and Homam at Ahobilam with strict adherence to authentic Vedic tradition, maintaining mantra-śuddhi, ritual sanctity, and śāstric discipline, seeking Lord Nṛsiṁha’s blessings for protection, fearlessness, victory over obstacles, and spiritual strength in the lives of devotees.
